Sophia Holden is a performance artist, based in the Greater Toronto Area. Her specialties include her abilities as a violinist, along with her talents as a circus performer. With over 10 years of experience playing the violin, Holden has performed at several different venues, as a soloist and an ensemble member, making her an incredibly versatile performer. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music at the University of Guelph, she is continually building her career as a musician. In addition, Holden is an experienced circus performer, specializing in the dance trapeze. With over 13 years of training in the circus, Holden has performed in several productions as a team member, and in her more recent years, as a professional solo trapeze performer.

Holden’s training on the dance trapeze and her abilities as a violinist brings a unique presence to the stage. Her abilities extend beyond performing these disciplines separately, as she combines them, performing the violin while suspended on the dance trapeze, creating a rare and captivating live experience. Combining her two disciplines, from her backgrounds in classical training on violin, and circus performance, Holden aims to challenge the world of the arts, highlighting that there are no limits to creativity.
